The official opening of Campus De Braak in Helmond recently took place, with Helmond Sport’s new stadium as its shining centrepiece. In the midst of several neighbourhoods requiring special attention, a modern sports facility has been created over the past few years through collaboration between the Municipality of Helmond, OMO Scholengroep, Helmond Sport and SV De Braak. The result: a beautiful, multifunctional sports environment that is ready for the future.

For this project, VDL Mast Solutions supplied the specially designed stadium masts and LED lighting, ensuring optimal illumination for every footballer, spectator and user. The surrounding training pitches are also equipped with our masts and lighting, so both matches and training sessions benefit from the same quality and reliability.

The delivery of the stadium floodlight masts was spectacular. Within the VDL Sports Projects consortium, other VDL companies supplied additional components, such as seats and safe-standing barriers. Together, this demonstrates the strength of our one-stop-shop principle: one partner for all the essential components of a sports venue.
