In the centre of Drunen, the existing lighting columns were replaced this week. The old columns are making way for new ones with a woodgrain-painted finish.

When people say Circuit Zandvoort, they think of dunes, Formula 1 and, of course, the iconic Tarzan Corner. What many people don’t know is that another icon towers above that famous corner: Zandvoort’s radar mast. A technical feat that not only keeps an eye on the airspace, but also plays a starring role during races as a camera tower.

In Austria, we regularly install impressive lattice masts on mountain peaks. A challenging project, but one that has become familiar to us. The masts, ranging from 20 to 75 metres in height, are assembled in sections in the valley. A helicopter then transports these components to the summit, where our teams expertly assemble them.

The existing De Rotonde advertising tower in Enspijk, alongside the A2, was completely rebuilt exactly 10 years ago. The tower had been a recognisable landmark for road users for many years, but no longer met modern design and construction requirements.

In Harderwijk, a striking landmark stands out: the new advertising mast by VDL Mast Solutions, specially designed and built for the Food and Fun Park. This mast is not merely a means of communication, but also a recognisable feature that reinforces the park’s identity.

Towards safer traffic in Uden. As part of the redesign of a key intersection in Uden, VDL Mast Solutions recently supplied the complete mast structure for the new traffic signal control system. This intersection is an important link in the flow of local and regional traffic and requires reliable, durable and future-proof solutions.

Recently, the official opening took place of Campus De Braak in Helmond, where Helmond Sport’s new stadium is the shining centrepiece. Amid several disadvantaged neighbourhoods, a modern sports facility has been developed over the past few years through collaboration between Helmond Municipality, OMO Scholengroep, Helmond Sport and SV De Braak. The result: a wonderful, multifunctional sporting environment that is ready for the future.
