Since its foundation in 1982, Ski and Snowboard Club De Schans has been a familiar name in Uden and the surrounding area. With a passion for winter sports and strong local connections, the club has been providing a place for young and old alike to improve their skills and enjoy the fun of snow together for decades.

To ensure safe and sustainable sports activities in the future, De Schans opted for a thorough modernisation of the track lighting. In collaboration with our specialists, the existing installation was replaced with 11 energy-efficient Philips Optivision LED luminaires, and the existing masts were carefully inspected and technically upgraded where necessary to guarantee a safe and sustainable foundation for the new lighting.

Better visibility and lower energy costs
The new LED lighting provides a perfectly illuminated track, with an optimal balance between brightness, safety and comfort for athletes and spectators. Thanks to advanced Philips Optivision technology, the light is precisely directed onto the track, reducing light spill and minimising energy loss.

This sustainable investment not only means a lower ecological footprint, but also considerable savings on the association’s energy costs. A smart step towards a future-proof sports facility that aligns with the region’s sustainability ambitions.
