Sustainable Lighting at Ski & Snowboard Club De Schans in Uden

Since its founding in 1982, Ski & Snowboard Club De Schans has been a well-known name in Uden and the surrounding area. With a deep passion for winter sports and strong local involvement, the club has provided a place for young and old alike to improve their skills and enjoy the fun of snow sports together.

To ensure safe and sustainable sports for years to come, De Schans has chosen to thoroughly modernize its slope lighting. In collaboration with our specialists, the existing installation was replaced with 11 energy-efficient Philips Optivision LED luminaires, while the existing masts were carefully inspected and, where necessary, technically improved, guaranteeing a safe and durable foundation for the new lighting system.

Improved Visibility and Lower Energy Costs
The new LED lighting provides a perfectly illuminated slope, with an optimal balance of brightness, safety, and comfort for both athletes and spectators. Thanks to advanced Philips Optivision technology, the light is precisely directed onto the slope, minimizing glare and energy loss.

This sustainable investment not only reduces the club’s ecological footprint but also delivers significant energy cost savings, a smart step toward a future-proof sports facility that aligns with the region’s sustainability goals.

Future-Proof Winter Sports Enjoyment
With this lighting upgrade, Ski & Snowboard Club De Schans is once again ready for many years of safe, energy-efficient, and atmospheric winter sports activities. A great example of how sports clubs can contribute to a more sustainable future, without compromising on quality or experience.
